Job Description

JOB TITLE: Stadium Attendant

REPORTS TO: Manager

DEPARTMENT: Operations

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

 

OVERVIEW: The Stadium Attendant is responsible for getting (and keeping) the restaurant ready for Guests and is like a Team’s groundkeeper getting the field ready for a big game. Everything has to be ready for action. During the Stadium Attendant’s shift, it will be their job to ensure everything in their area is clean, stocked, and ready to go for Guests and their fellow Teammates!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting the Table

  • Sets up all table caddies properly.
  • Ketchup in the middle with the Buffalo facing out, wet naps placed in a small container, and the specified marketing POP (if applicable) placed behind the ketchup. Salt should always be placed on the right, pepper on the left.
  • Ensures condiments and supplies in the caddies are full at all times.
  • Replace the drink menu in the center of the table for easy viewing and access during a table reset. Guests should see the Drink Menu first upon approaching the table or booth.
  • Places the caddy on the outside of the table or booth.

Soap and Sanitizer Buckets

  • Uses the proper red and green buckets for cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, infant seats, and table caddy contents.
  • Green buckets contain a soap solution, red bucket contain sanitizer. Remember, “Green is clean, Red is dead”.
  • Unless a restaurant’s local code specifies otherwise, as dual bucket system of soap and sanitizer solutions is required.
  • Clean towels should be placed into both buckets.
  • Buckets may also need to be placed at Greeter and Takeout Counter areas.

Flatware

  • Ensures that server and bar stations are kept stocked with rolled silverware.
  • Flatware rollups should include a fork and knife, rolled in a white paper napkin, held together with a white band wrap.
  • Flatware soaking bins filled with hot soapy water should be placed in the dish area. All dirty/use flatware are to be placed in these bins.
  • Once the bins are full, the flatware is to be run through the dishwasher.
  • Soaking bins must be refreshed every four (4) hours.
  • Important – Unused roll-ups left on tables are DIRTY. Napkins must be discarded and flatware placed in a soaking bin.

Table Turns

  • Resets tables within two (2) minutes of Guest departure as follows so tables can be turned quickly.
  • Clears the table.
  • Wipes the table and Table Caddy contents with soap solution (green bucket).
  • Sanitizes the table and Table Caddy contents (red bucket).
  • Cleans and sweeps the floor.
  • Resets the Table Caddy.
  • Places the drink menus on the table.

The Restrooms

  • Conducts thorough inspections and clean the restrooms before the doors open every day. (Reminders are set by timer and are usually located at the Outside Expo area or the Cashier or Greeter stand).
  • Hands MUST be washed before leaving the restroom EVERY time, no matter the reason the restroom was entered.

Miscellaneous

  • Cleans and organizes restaurant consistent with opening and closing duties as appropriate.
  • Fills ice bins at soda and bar stations.
  • Stocks service and bar stations with supplies and products.
  • Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Washes and wipes windows throughout the shift.
  • Wipes down bottles.
  • Moving and cleaning underside of tables and chairs.
  • Runs/Delivers food.
  • Pre-bussing.
  • Removes trash from both the dining areas and kitchen.
  • Washes dishes.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
