Internal Accounts Receivable Specialist
Compensation : $25-$32 per hour
The Job :
The Internal Accounts Receivable Specialist works with internal team members to ensure our customers are billed timely and accurately according to the terms of their agreement.
This individual will have an understanding of collecting past due payments, negotiation of payment plans and terms. The Internal Accounts Receivable Specialist will have a higher level of understanding of our payment terms and internal programs, and will use this knowledge to provide feedback and resolutions to our internal teammates.
This individual will facilitate internal requests such as Pro Service subscriptions, secondary account setup, franchise pricing management, and various other requests from internal teammates.
The Internal Accounts Receivable Specialist also helps facilitate the reconciliation of scheduled account payments to ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of customer status.
What you will do :
- Ensures transactions are timely and accurate.
- Responds to inquiries from payors and internal stakeholders and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.
- Timely turn-around of internal asks which includes insights into customer payments and facilitation of subscription changes and management and processing of payments.
- Works with manager to report on trends and recurring requests.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and processing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with both company policies and financial regulations.
- Identify and suggest improvements to internal processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with other departments to address any issues that may impact A / R and facilitate smooth inter-departmental workflows.
Who you are and what you need :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Exceptional verbal and written customer service skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
