As a key player in our organization, you'll contribute your expertise to support manufacturers in maintaining compliance with state codes for fenestration products. Responsibilities: As a Civil/Structural Engineer at BUILDING DROPS, you'll be responsible for solving technical challenges within a collaborative team environment. Your role will involve:

• Building Envelope Design:
  
  

○ Apply working knowledge of design concepts related to building envelopes, including wind, thermal, snow loads, and seismic considerations.

○ Utilize IES Visual Analysis for 3D structural analysis.

• AutoCAD and Shop Drawings:
  
  

○ Review architectural drawings and produce accurate shop drawings in-house.

○ Collaborate with manufacturers to meet job site requirements.

• Business Relationships:
  
  

○ Develop and maintain effective relationships with key corporate accounts.

○ Gain the confidence of management and engineering personnel in external strategic organizations.

• Project Management:
  
  

○ Drive and complete multiple complex projects simultaneously.

○ Maintain a clear vision of the industry's future and Building Drops, Inc.'s services.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the Structural Engineering Field.
• Proficiency in English (Turkish preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and tactical execution abilities.
• Familiarity with linear and non-linear analysis for advanced façade designs.
  
  

Primary Duties: Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing technical aspects of customer relationships.
• Analyzing structural components and calculating pressures, stresses, and strains.
• Collaborating with other designers and engineers.
• Using CAD technology for simulation and review.
• Preparing documents for submission to regulatory authorities.
