Supply Chain Analyst
BPI is hiring for an entry-level Supply Chain Analyst in the Procurement department. Responsibilities include coordination and reporting on supply and demand for all assigned products, sourcing costs of new materials/products, and frequently interacting with employees from across the organization to keep everyone informed on current requirements.
Basic Function
Our Supply Chain Analysts use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. They are responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support SCM planning and operations. Your daily tasks will include analyzing daily data to identify any upcoming issues in supply or demand for products, sourcing materials/products, communicating with vendors to ensure they can provide what is needed, maintaining relationships with employees across the company to stay up to date on production needs and requirements, and preparing regular reports on findings and updates to management. You will also analyze the movement of goods through the supply pipeline, monitor current processes, identify, and analyze gaps, and develop process improvements. You will be expected to use your skills in database management and spreadsheet analysis to help the business increase cash flows, inventory turns, and delivery efficiency.
