Job Summary
Job Description
• Using the Company's MRP/ERP system, execute complex work plans and schedules with new or variable material and capacity requirements.
• Support customer requirements within the current build plan.
• Monitor the movement of assemblies through the production cycle.
• Coordinate the efficient movement of material with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Responsible for performing a variety of routing, dispatching and expediting duties necessary to meet production schedules
• Interact effectively with production, sales and engineering through status and/or exception reporting.
• Develop written production schedules for Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
• Participate on cross-functional improvement teams.
• Strong analytical skills
Education / Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
5 years planning experience in related industry
Experience in the automotive or OEM markets is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
APICS certification preferred
Strong analytical skills
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
