Builtimore LLC is a small business. We are a few local workmen who do quality work for our customers. Our goal is to complete repairs and improvements to homes with attention to detail and respect for the customer.
We are looking for someone to work as a 1099 subcontractor, meaning you will have the freedom to take off when you need. All we ask is that you are professional and work with us to get the job done in accordance with the customer's needs.

We expect you to help our team complete tasks related to the construction. Your main responsibility is to perform manual labor to assist a variety of projects, including: cleaning, plastering, painting, moving materials, framing, digging, and landscaping. You should be physically fit as some tasks may be physically demanding. Previous experience in construction is not required but will be an asset. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in construction or demolition projects.
- Apply a wide range of physical skills to equipment operation, materials handling and construction tasks.
- Perform manual labor tasks for a variety of construction, infrastructure and surface maintenance jobs (e.g. paving, patching and trenching).
- Read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings to determine how to proceed with projects.
- Use hand tools like drills and shovels for digging, installing new infrastructure and clearing debris.
- Assist in layout work for the installation of reinforced steel bars and posts.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks like lifting bags of concrete mix .
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Handle hazardous materials such as lead paint or asbestos safely.
- Maintain good timekeeping/show up on time consistently.
- Meet deadlines when working on projects (e.g. building houses, cleaning sites, etc.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
