QUALIFICATIONS: |
1. |
High School Diploma or verifiable G.E.D. |
|
2. |
Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of common office equipment and machines |
|
3. |
Strong organization and communication skills |
|
4. |
Self-motivated to work with minimal direct supervision |
|
5. |
History of dependability and good attendance |
|
6. |
Agility to relate well with students and adults |
|
|
Alternative to the above qualifications as the Governing Board finds appropriate and acceptable. |

To assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning school office environment. |

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. 1. |
Maintain student records as required for the state reporting of attendance. |
|
2. |
Notify parents of student absence each school day. |
|
3. |
Assist the School Resource Officer with student attendance issues. |
|
4. |
Answer and route incoming telephone calls, making call notes when needed. |
|
5. |
Assist in registration of students. |
|
6. |
Schedule IEP, 504, and TAT meetings as requested. |
|
7. |
Maintain confidentiality regarding student and employee information and records. |
|
8. |
Perform office routines and practices as directed by the Principal through the Secretary. |
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: |
1760 hours/220 days per year with a one-year work agreement. Salary to be established with the Board. |

EVALUATION: |
Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel. |
