We are looking for someone who knows the Shepherdsville and Greater Louisville area and is able to work with out direct supervision. As our Route Driver you will clean and maintain port-a-potties, handwash, hand sanitizer, etc. stations.

Job Summary:

The Route Driver will clean and maintain port-a-potties, handwash, hand sanitizer, etc. stations.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

· Travels to worksite, transporting materials, equipment, and occasionally other staff.

· Flushes, empties, and cleans units; performs other services required to maintain or repair units, tanks, and system.

· Cleans and disinfects areas affected by sewage.

· Deliver or pick up units on route.

· Requests and/or orders necessary supplies and equipment.

· Meet all safety standards by abiding by all transportation laws, company policies, and maintaining a safe driving record.

· Updates maps and routes assigned, providing feedback to routing team.

· Weekend & evening hours may be required.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

· Thorough understanding of equipment, units, trucks, and repair.

· Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment.

· Ability to follow directions and procedures without constant or regular supervision.

· Ability to communicate with dispatch, customers, and leadership.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Valid driver’s license and 3 yrs. clean driving record.

CDL preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds.

· Must be able to work in all types of weather.

· Must be able to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl as required to access units.

· Able to remain focused and alert while driving for extended periods of time.

· Able to handle strong odors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
