Position Purpose: This is a half-time position, in the mornings at Koontz Intermediate School in South Asheville. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' understanding and appreciation of the art of music, including listening a wide range of musical genre, periods and styles. Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. - 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
- Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
