Bungalow is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready to use by assisting in the cleaning of the kitchen. Also focus on food prep. This position will report to the Cook.
Responsibilities
Ensure clean and ready to use equipment is returned to storage
- Perform daily pre-cooking tasks such as washing, drying, and sorting food
- Comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain quality control over ingredients
- Handle any special orders or special catering services and comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the cook to support the kitchen staff
Work Experience
Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts and hours needed
- Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
