The Talent Acquisition Partner will partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement best-in-class strategies to attract quality talent. The individual will design and implement recruiting programs and objectives to achieve optimal staffing levels in all exempt areas of the Division, primarily focusing on Supply Chain: Category Management, Product Management, and Procurement. This is a 6-month contract position, with potential for extension, and is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies in partnership with Division Talent Acquisition Team
  • Provide creative thinking on innovative approaches to recruiting and sourcing
  • Plan sourcing strategies, proactively create talent pools, and effectively source candidates
  • Perform all phases of the recruitment process
  • Create/update job postings in collaboration with managers
  • Write/post job advertisements
  • Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job postings, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Qualify applicants against the position responsibilities and qualifications, as well as behavioral competencies that best match the position, department, and company
  • Coordinate and perform interviews
  • Train management on the use of behavioral interviewing techniques where necessary
  • Participate in internal end external hiring events as needed
  • Partner with leadership to make hiring recommendations
  • Negotiate offers with managers and candidates
  • Represent Bunzl to prospective employees, external agencies, and partners; develop a clear understanding of our business
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external customers, employment contacts, and agencies
  • Research new products and technologies, conduct ongoing analyses of current systems, and implement improvements in recruiting operations as appropriate
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including AAP, ADA, and OFCCP
  • Network in and outside of the company to continue to build recruiting and business knowledge
  • Support the Bunzl AAP and diversity initiatives and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three years of Talent Acquisition experience (exempt - level roles) required
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment
  • Mastery of full cycle recruiting with strong decision making skills
  • Must be self motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize work according to business goals
  • Must be flexible in managing changing priorities and dealing with ambiguity at times
  • Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines, pay attention to details, and execute projects to desired outcomes
  • Must have expert interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including: Word, Excel, TEAMS, Forms, etc.
  • Periodic multi-night travel is required (<15%)
