JOB PURPOSE
Leading a team responsible for providing financial analysis and management accounting services for Horseferry costs, with a focus on delivering accurate & transparent month-end close as well as implement more efficient ways of working.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and co-ordinate delivery of month end, half year and year end close including posting of journals, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis/detail of actuals posted.
- Lead and co-ordinate the maintenance of accurate headcount data & analysis.
- Manage direct / indirect reports to optimise their performance and oversee their development, both as individuals and as a team.
- Establish new ways of working to highlight & drive efficiencies across existing processes.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Qualified accountant ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) with previous relevant experience.
- Advanced understanding of Excel.
- Ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple demands while achieving deadlines.
- Analytical background, with a good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information.
- Clear communicator.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Previous SAP experience preferable.
- Experience of month end close processes

Expected base salary for the role will generally be between $25,000.00 and $40,000.00 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
