Returns Specialist
Job Summary:
Burke Decor is looking for a skilled Returns Specialist to join our team. The Returns Specialist will be responsible for managing the returns process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of returns, and handling customer inquiries related to returns. The ideal candidate will have experience in ecommerce and a strong customer service background.
Responsibilities:
- Process returns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all returns are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and track returns, providing regular updates to the team and identifying trends or issues that need to be addressed
- Respond to customer inquiries related to returns, providing timely and accurate information to resolve any issues or concerns
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure that all returns are handled in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all returns, including tracking numbers, customer information, and reason for return
- Collaborate with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to streamline the returns process
- Identify and escalate any issues or concerns related to returns to the appropriate team members or managers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in ecommerce, logistics, or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management software a plus
