Summary:
The Express Service Advisor is the primary contact between the Service Department and Express Service customers. Our primary goal is to provide extraordinary customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets customer and obtains customer and vehicle information and mileage
- Identify customer requests and qualify vehicle for Express Service
- Recommend needed services and related parts
- Provide extraordinary customer service in accordance with dealership policies
- Write complete, accurate repair orders (RO) in accordance with dealership policies
- Determines general nature of repairs needed and writes a clear description of customer needs on ROs
- Provides customer with multi-point inspection results, estimated repair, costs and anticipated time of completion
- Sends repair order to be dispatched and maintains contact with technicians throughout the day
- Calculates estimates on technician found repairs and notifies customer of these needs
- Notifies customer when repairs are completed
- Answer phones, collect customer info and make appointments
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Prior retail or automotive service experience a plus!
- Able to operate computer based systems.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 10 and 25 pounds
- Ability to drive cars and trucks; some with manual transmission
