Manager of Asset Protection Operations

Burlington Stores is a nationally recognized retailer of high quality, branded merchandise at everyday low prices, with over 1000 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico and we are in search of a Manager of Asset Protection Operations to support Burlington’s Asset Protection Program. Our Manager of Asset Protection Operationsis responsible for preventing loss to the organization through the review and analysis of data and management of vendor relationships and accountability per the department's standards.This individual will apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business challenges, make recommendations to support strategic operations activities and improve and support process workflow development. **A Day in the Life** Lead and manage the development of direct reports by facilitating continued improvement over current processes and developing strategy for future projects. Provide oversight of all current and future Asset Protection service programs, including, but not limited to armored cars, third-party guards, and police coverage in stores, distributions centers, and corporate offices. Identify and maintain exceptional third-party vendors and ensure all services are performed that meet our standards and invoices are accurately captured and paid timely. Work with corporate business partners and Field Asset Protection Managers to stay apprised of any issues or requests and work to develop, manage, maintain, and streamline vendor services processes. Develop detailed financial reporting that will be used to provide project management support for various Asset Protection initiatives. Provide support to Burlington Response and Investigation Center (BRIC) team through developing and managing key procedures and overall management of intake data. Manager Asset Protection needs for new and existing stores, ensure invoices are routed and approved and partner with business support to assist with month-end accruals and ensure everything is accounted for within budget. **You Come With** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5 years pf related work experience with retail Asset Protection/Inventory Control, Operations, Finance or Procurement preferred. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to demonstrate a strong analytical and research skillset. Ability to problem-solve and a mastery of project and time management skills. **Come join our team.
