An award-winning financial services firm is looking to hire an Operations Administrative Assistant. (In-Office M-F) This is a great opportunity to join an established public accounting firm based in Austin, TX that has a very positive work environment and career growth.
Position overview:
Responsible for general administrative tasks the supports the Operations division of the firm including scans documents, assembles paper-based tax documents, serves as a back-up to the Front Desk Receptionist, and functions as part of the administrative team. Routinely the Operations Assistant will interface with public inquiries in a professional manner. This position will also be responsible for handling both incoming client documents and out-going paper tax returns. The focus of this position is to sort, scan, bind, mail, and file physical papers with attention to complete accuracy. This position may also be asked to help with special administrative projects as required and directed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of office administration experience
- Office Skills. Ability to perform general office skills which include, word processing, and operating various office machines (i.e. multi-line telephones, scanners, copiers)
- Proficiency in the use of computers and commonly used software such as MS Office
- Detail Oriented, Confidentiality and excellent communication skills
- Client Oriented. A desire to serve both external and internal clients by focusing effort on meeting the client's needs, understanding their concerns, and seeking to build trust.
