Junior Buyer

Adding a Junior Buyer to our team! This entry level role as Junior buyer will support the client by sourcing and procuring all requirements. Will negotiate optimal pricing and commercial terms. We have a proven track record for growth and internal promotions as well as extraordinary benefits! Office location is in North Houston relatively near the Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement related activities for allocated projects and contracts
  • Sources and supplies goods from inquiry to dispatch and quotes
  • Effectively source a diverse range of product relating to upstream and downstream industry
Education and experience:
  • High School diploma
  • Associates Degree a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Buyer or in a procurement role preferred
Required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and source
  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
