Burning Acre was founded by John Cureton in 2019 as a hemp consulting firm, but quickly pivoted to a bakery after we saw a need for luxury, organic edibles. John Cureton is an 8x award-winning cannabis entrepreneur, who founded Colorado Springs first medical cannabis boutique.
John and our team work hard sourcing the best quality, local ingredients to provide our customers with the best experience possible. Our ingredients are farm fresh and contain no pesticides or chemicals.
After opening on the first of January in 2021 and by the end of September Burning Acre had already won THREE awards in the state of Tennessee! The staff employed is comprised of cannabis experts with over 30 years of combined cannabis experience. We are blazing a new trail in our industry by providing transparency, education, compliance of regulatory bodies and quality. Our goal is to set the standard higher in a misunderstood industry.
We are looking for top talent! All rockstars are encouraged to apply. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to assist customers with purchasing everything from CBD to edibles and work events. All necessary training is provided. Must be at least 21 years old to sell Delta-8 products.
Pay: $15 hour plus tips
This is a Full-time position with medical benefits to come.
Schedule: 9:30 am- 6:00 pm Tuesday-Saturday, Off Sunday & Monday, 1 hour lunch
Must be able to work Saturdays & Events (some early mornings and late evenings)

Reports to the General Manager
Responsibilities:
· Greets and interacts with customers.
· Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
· Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
· Answers customer’s questions about merchandise.
· Assists customers with purchase decisions.
· Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders.
· Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
· Processes returns and exchanges.
· Process and package online orders, package wholesale orders and update the system accordingly
· Share BA promotional posts to FB groups/other social media platforms
· Update online presence on website and other ancillary platforms (products out of stock, etc.)
· Collaborates with GM and Event Staff to understand the setup and breakdown for events.
· Assists with loading and unloading truck for setup and break down of events.
· Maintain cleanliness of retail space.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· 2 years of previous retail experience required.
· On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
