Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your role will also involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences - Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, providing change, and issuing receipts - Monitor customer behavior and alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication or any issues related to alcohol service - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers seated at the bar - Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying deliveries - Uphold a high level of knowledge regarding our menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items and promote specials - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, handling cash transactions, and providing change - Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to build rapport with customers - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food is preferred - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry We offer competitive pay and a positive work environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are valued.
