Our ideal candidate will be an outgoing, creative individual with superb communication skills. Your broad design knowledge, as well as your experience with REVIT, will serve you well in this role as you make your mark on our exciting range of projects. This role will typically analyze and design structural systems for steel and concrete buildings using the appropriate building codes and be in close collaboration with other disciplines within a multi-discipline environment.
As a key part of the team, your responsibilities will be varied but will broadly include:
What would you be doing?
- Preparation and verification of detailed engineering designs, drawings, documents and specifications
- Undertake detailed engineering design for gravity and lateral systems of building structures
- Checking the work of other Engineers
- Guide less experienced team members in order to achieve the project success
- Create 3D structural analysis models using commercial software, including RAM, SAP, ETABS, SAFE, etc
- Set up, manage and review job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure
- Under guidance of senior staff, attend and participate in meetings with the client, and other design team members
What are we looking for?
- 5 years’ experience of innovative structural building engineering design
- Relevant bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of US Building and Material Codes
- Broad structural design knowledge from working on a wide range of projects
- Experience with wide range of material, including the design of steel, concrete and wood building structures
- Confident and proactive character with ability to accept a high degree of responsibility in a team-based organization, combined with ability to work independently
- Good working experience with BIM tools such as REVIT
- Experience using computation design methods, using Rhino, Grasshopper is a bonus but a willingness to learn will serve you well as we offer plenty of opportunity to progress with these tools

- Salary range of $85,700 to $115,700. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
