Brightli is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager, Health and Safety to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Lead, manage, and supervise the Hospitality Specialist team, providing guidance, support, and resources.

Design, coordinate, and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on safety procedures.

Create and disseminate educational materials to raise employee awareness about health and safety.
-
Gather, analyze, and summarize safety data to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

Investigate potential hazards, accidents, and dangerous occurrences, and provide recommendations.
-
Coordinate and lead safety meetings, ensuring concerns are addressed and maintaining accurate records.

Serve as the chair of the Safety Committee and coordinate site Safety Officers.

Represent the organization on health and safety matters, liaising with external inspectors and surveyors.

Develop and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including guidelines, drills, surveys, and checklists.

Provide timely and effective assistance, fostering a positive and safe environment.

Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
-
Leadership experience preferred
-
Preferred experience with diverse populations and cultural awareness

Crisis intervention experience is strongly preferred
