Sr. Electrical Engineer - Port Arthur

Burrow Global is seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to support a chemical manufacturing company in Port Arthur, TX.   The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in power distribution and motor protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Power System Studies, including Load Flow, Short Circuit Analysis, and Arc Flash Analysis, conducted by Engineering Firms, utilizing SKM software.
• Evaluate and ensure compliance of Electrical Packages for Petroleum Refineries and/or Chemical Plants at IFA and IFC levels.
• Provide support for field walk-downs and on-site activities as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power distribution and motor protection.
• Proficiency in SKM software for conducting and reviewing Power System Studies.
• Experience in reviewing Electrical Packages for Petroleum Refineries and/or Chemical Plants at IFA and IFC levels.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and work effectively in both office and field environments.
