What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Maintenance II position at Burrtec?

We have the following position at one of our San Bernardino divisions:
Equipment Maintenance II - Yellow Iron
Performs day-to-day general maintenance and repairs and preventive maintenance on wheel loaders, dozers, forklifts, company vehicles, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain Transfer Station equipment in good and safe working condition for processing municipal solid waste and recycling.
- Proper use of safety equipment and procedures, must provide and use steel toe safety boots
- Properly communicate and give continuous status to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Must abide by all company rules and policies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Have own hand tools.
- Have valid California Driver's license and good driving record.
- Some knowledge of electrical and hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Be familiar with use of power tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand shop manuals and parts manuals.
- Must be able to order parts as necessary.
- Will fill out work orders and purchase orders.
- Must have good English Communication skills.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with diesel, gasoline, and propane engines, preferred
PHYSICAL:
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 75lbs.
- Physically demanding.
- Work overhead and underneath equipment, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Will be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, heat, and cold conditions
- Frequently out in the elements, i.e., rain, sun, wind, etc
