Medical Insurance Biller

We're looking for a Superstar Chiropractic Billing Specialist who is detail oriented, focused, and enjoys making money. The right person will make up to $50,000 a year in this position (that includes potential bonuses). At least 1 year of billing experience is required to apply for this position -Chiropractic billing experience is preferred.

We want the right person for the job, not the most impressive resume. We only hire Superstars, so if you don’t have the stuff we’re looking for, we’ll know. We are a newer Chiropractic billing company, but we are rapidly growing and need to add an additional experienced biller to our team so we can service our new client waiting list.

We are looking for a competent Billing specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s revenues. You will handle the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork.

The right person has the opportunity to become our second billing specialist.

The part to full time hours we are looking to fill are Monday - Friday with flexible daily hours, depending on your skills and availability. Weekend hours are not required, but you may be asked to attend quarterly business conferences.

Responsibilities

• Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility
• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
• Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices
• Check the validity of debit accounts
• Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
• Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
• Skills

Proven experience as billing specialist

• Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other)
• Proficiency in English
• Results-driven and patient
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
