The Position
Our Olathe location is seeking multiple Forklift Operator Positions to add to our team. This position is responsible for performing the various tasks associated with the receipt, fulfillment, and shipment of products at the Bushnell warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift equipment
- Receives and processes product into the warehouse
- Pick and pack product to fulfill orders
- Prepares product for shipment
- Assists with other projects as required
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Must maintain a high attention to detail
- Assist production assembly department as needed
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Years of Related Experience: 1 year of related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be forklift certified; or willing to become forklift certified
- Working knowledge of RF gun
- basic understanding of a Distribution Center
- Good reading and comprehension skills to read orders, bills of lading, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Basic understanding of sound safety practices and good housekeeping requirements
Environment:
Exposure to noise, dust, and climate changes
While performing the duties of this job Associates are required to:
- Regularly stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and work at heights from floor to 30 feet high
- Frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 25-50lbs with a maximum of 65lbs throughout a full shift of work
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, hands and legs. Moving of whole body to lift, reach, grasp, balance, and stoop when handling warehouse materials for an extended period and/or an entire work shift.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus ability to:

Hours/Compensation/Benefits:
Hours: 1st shift - Tuesday-Friday(7am-5:30pm)
Compensation: $18.50/hr.
