Job Role Overview

Rex is seeking a Business Development Lead for PayUp, an early payments platform that allows small & medium businesses to get paid immediately rather than net 30 or 45 days.

What you’ll do:

  • Onboard new business customers and new vendors while negotiating contracts
  • Prospecting new vendors while also maintaining existing vendor relationships
  • Communicate with team members with an extreme bias to personal ownership and action
  • Keep regular contacts with customer to ensure satisfaction before and after execution
  • Sustain business growth and profitability by maximizing value
  • Execute in a timely manner with a high caliber while maintaining discipline
  • Ensure we build quickly to meet both short term goals and match expectations for long term durability and growth
  • Recruiting and building teams at Rex is a top priority, each person will participate in interviewing prospective candidates

What you offer:

  • 3-7 years of experience in business development, biz ops, or related roles in SaaS sales, negotiation and closing accounts
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Experience analyzing and optimizing the existing strategies
  • Strong understanding of content marketing
  • Proven leader in operational excellence with a very high bar for success
  • Passionate about serving others through technology
  • Highly flexible with a willingness to do whatever it takes to propel the company forward
  • A strong bias towards action
