SUMMARY: The Medical Review Officer (MRO) Assistant will perform administrative functions including receiving and sorting of test forms, presenting non-negative and fatally flawed files to the Medical Review Officer for review, and distribution of reports to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes and manages numeric reports and formats reports into Microsoft Word.
Manages communication to lab vendors.
Sends clients all written notification forms.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interacts with Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Manager to deliver proper information regarding non-negative results.
Specific Duties:
Obtain the required paperwork and prepare the forms required to review non-negative drug screen results
Interview all non-DOT donors for all non-negative test results pre-protocol; * Process invalid test results and test cancellations
Receive training on client specific protocol for handling and reporting drug screen results
General
Maintains a clean, neat work environment and presents a professional image.

Maintains strict confidentiality related to company, client, employee and candidate information. Understands and follows safety and security procedures and practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by BHP
Immediately reports all accidents and incidents to the immediate supervisor or Human Resources. Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
Travels by car, air or other means as necessary to recruit, interview and conduct company business.
Fully understands and adheres to the systems provided by BHP to control assets and expenditures.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Executes all terms and conditions as set forth in the BHP Employee Handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with staff at remote locations essential
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Must be team oriented
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
Must be able to work independently
