Join our dynamic NOC Team as a highly valued NOC Service Technician! This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring proper network operation and providing exceptional technical support services to our valued clients.

In this fast-paced and ever-changing environment, you will be responsible for field dispatch support for the Network Operations Center, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting all networks and systems-related issues. As a NOC Service Technician, you will work collaboratively with both internal teams and third-party vendor support and engineering teams to ensure that clients and systems are kept up to date and running smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for the NOC Service Technician will be to provide field dispatch support for the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Troubleshoot physical layer problems to ensure proper network operation.
  • When field dispatches are not scheduled, the NOC Service Technician will monitor and troubleshoot all networks and systems-related issues, including event notification and escalations.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for current clients through phone or email communications.
  • Open, update, and close tickets while providing timely status updates to customers.
  • Follow defined operating procedures to ensure clients, systems, and management are kept up to date with regard to any individual trouble or network degradation.
  • Prioritize and respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal teams and third-party vendor support and engineering teams.
  • Produce technical support documentation and write incident reports as appropriate.
