Nursing Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care for patients under the supervision of nurses and medical staff.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and transport within the facility
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients
- Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff

Requirements
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in senior care, hospital settings, or dementia care is a plus
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to administer medications under supervision
- Proficiency in using Cerner or similar healthcare systems

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
