Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with various medical procedures. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and observe for any changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and specimen collection processing
- Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers as needed
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results
- Provide ostomy care for patients with stomas
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical/surgical setting
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and documentation
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Experience in occupational health is a plus
