Minimum 3 years of experience in Family Law required. Ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of family law, including but not limited to, paternity, relocation, contempt, child support, and dissolutions. Must be able to manage high volume of cases and work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must be proficient in the following:

  • Drafting orders, motions, discovery, responses to motions, petition packages, etc.
  • Scheduling meetings, hearings, trials, phone conferences, mediations, etc.
  • E-filing portal, HOVER, JAWS
  • Keeping track of deadlines and calendaring
  • Identifying work that needs to be performed and execute
  • Organizing, managing, and updating clients’ files both electronically and in paper format
  • Interacting extensively with clients, JA’s, and opposing counsels
  • Reviewing discovery documents
  • Assisting attorney with preparation for Hearings, Mediations, and Trials
  • Drafting witness lists, exhibit lists, and pre-trial memos
  • Researching case law
  • Calculating child support guidelines
  • Analyzing financial discovery/Investigating financial assets and liabilities of parties
  • Drafting equitable distribution worksheets and Financial Affidavits
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe, Clio is a plus

We are a small firm that provides excellent service to our clients, therefore excellent people skills are a must. Spanish language a plus. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and provide professional references.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
