Experienced Parts Counter Specialist
Experienced Parts Counter Person Needed
This is a parts counter sales position that will require the candidate to help customers at the parts sales counter and over the phone. Candidate may also be required to work at the Service parts counter to help technicians with parts for service repair orders. As well as shipping and recieving for our online store.
Job duties include;
Looking up parts for various brands of equipment for customers and technicians.
Answering the phones.
Performing inventory cycle counts.
Carefully putting away incoming freight shipments.
Carefully receiving freight order paperwork.
Working in conjunction with the Sales and Service departments to meet their parts needs.
Candidate must be flexible in hours and be willing to work some Saturdays and overtime as needed. Candidate must have the ability to lift/carry 50 pounds for short periods of time. Candidate must have empathy and an ability to think outside of the box to find solutions to problems that will arise. Candidate must be willing to operate a forklift. Training can be provided.
Experience is required for this position. Candidate must have experience looking up Commercial Landscape, Engine and Construction Parts. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Candidate should have experience at the dealership level i.e. working previously at an equipment dealership performing parts or service.
