| GENERAL DESCRIPTION           
We are seeking a dynamic Social Studies Instructor to work with 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students. 
 
Courses taught by the department include: American History, World History, Government, Economics, Psychology, World Issues, Sociology, and Law & Ethics.

| QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce covering all high school Social Studies course areas such as Integrated Social Studies (150004);
  • Ability to teach CCP courses preferred;
  • Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
  • Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
  • Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance;
  • History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
  • Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.

| SALARY                                           Based upon experience and education ($49,667 – 103,605)
 
| BENEFITS                                        Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement
 
| WORK YEAR                                    85 days - 185 days - 7.5 hours/day
