BEP is a technology enabled group purchasing network, which provides group purchasing services, SaaS based technology solutions, and supply chain consulting and procurement related services to foodservice operators across many verticals, including restaurants (independents as well as multiunit, chains and franchise concepts), hospitality (hotels, casinos, resorts), healthcare (LTC based operators), colleges & universities and array of other foodservice based operators (food trucks, caterers, amusement parks and other leisure based operators). This position will be hybrid-based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.
Who are we looking for?
A Commission Specialist is an analytical position that requires solid knowledge of sales processes, commission, and data analysis. You will be a critical member of the sales support team and are comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. You will own calculating commissions and reporting- as well as having exceptional analytical, data reporting and problem-solving skills. You thrive on complex challenges.
You are an inquisitive self-starter, a “doer” who readily rolls up your sleeves to get the work done to drive and maintain moving the sales strategy forward.
As a Commission Analyst with BEP, you will work with our Sales organization to design, develop, and maintain key reports and dashboards needed to manage employee commissions. You will be an instrumental role in supporting our Sales organization by investigating commission questions as they work accounts through the sales cycle. This role reports directly to our Manager of Commission Operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support monthly commission cycles
- Assist sales with commission questions in an understanding and responsive manner
- Ability to analyze commission data to provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Gain a deep understanding of the sales cycle and related Salesforce processes to support daily commission operations
- Provide commission data on sales activity, pipeline, and account management to help identify business trends or areas for improvement
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational challenges
Skillset Needed:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel:
- Proficiency in the following required:
- Nested If Statements, PivotTables, vLookups and IndexMatch
- Salesforce experience, including demonstrated dashboard building is required
- Commission software experience, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as an individual contributor
- You are curious with a desire to dig in, troubleshoot, and solve problems
- Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail
- Value feedback and constantly strive to improve and learn
- You have tenacity and are dependable with the ability to work autonomously
- You are data-driven and detail oriented: You excel with reporting and analytics, and are able to conduct senior management level reporting, dissect and derive actionable insights from large datasets across multiple reporting environments
- Proficiency in the following required:

- Ideally a 4-year Bachelors’ degree
- 2 year(s) of related work experience, preferably in a compensation support role
- 2 year(s) experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), including dashboard and report building
“Nice to have” skills desired:
- Experience working in a SaaS or high-tech company is a plus
- Tableau experience preferred
- SQL experience preferred
