This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient movement and storage of materials. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a committed team player. Responsibilities include moving trailers to dock doors, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate yard jockey trucks and forklifts safely to move trailers and materials.
- Handle the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring accurate management of shipments, including late arrivals.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of raw materials in designated areas.
- Record accurate details of SKU, lot numbers, and quantities.
- Provide coverage for shifts as needed to support team operations.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including the wearing of steel-toed boots.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
- Forklift Certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with yard jockey trucks is advantageous.
- Hourly pay: $20.00 per hour.
