Network Engineer - Journeyman

By Light is hiring a Network Engineer to join our team supporting a DoD customer in Tampa, FL. This position will provide support for routing and switching, configuring and troubleshooting IGP [ex. RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS], EGP [ex. eBGP], and MPLS on an enterprise network. This position will require a candidate open to "Panama Shift" work in a 24x7x365 environment. Required Experience/Qualifications: IAT Level II certification required (Security , etc.), CCNA or equivalent. Hands on experience monitoring and managing system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, memory usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency

Telecommunications Systems Integration Engineer 

By Light is hiring a Telecommunications Systems Integration Engineer to join our team. This position supports the Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) as part of a team assisting with security accreditation, risk mitigation and reporting in support of DoD policy, directives, instructions and guidance. Support will be provided Monday–Friday, 8 hours, between the core hours of 0630-1730.

Voice Engineer - Journeyman

By Light is hiring a Network Voice Engineer to work in Tampa, FL. The Engineer will provide monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, control, troubleshooting, and reporting on the enterprise infrastructure. This position will require a candidate open to "Panama Shift" work in a 24x7x365 environment. Required Experience/Qualifications: IAT Level II certification required (Security , etc.), CCNA Collaboration desired. Hands on experience monitoring and managing system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, memory usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Experience with applying VoIP protocols, VoIP codec, session boarder controller (SBC), and Unified Computing System (UCS) on an enterprise network.

Network Engineer Level IV- Minimum of 5 plus years’ experience, Extensive experience and professional certification with architecting, designing, testing, troubleshooting, and implementing interior gateway protocols (IGP), external gateway protocol (EGP), Multi-protocol Label and Switching (MPLS), Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), Network Function Virtualization (NFV)/Service Chaining, and Software Defined Networking (SDN) on an enterprise network to meet security, performance, operational, and functional requirements. Certifications: CCNP Collaboration, IAT Level II certification required (Security , etc.)

Network Systems Manager- BS Degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree. Certifications: Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security ce, CCNA Security, CySA , etc.), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Satellite Network Engineer Level II- knowledge in configuration, training, testing, operation, testing, fielding, installation and maintenance of SATCOM networks and systems; TDMA, MF-TDMA, FDMA; deploy tactical/strategic systems and subsystems; documented experience in SATCOM architecture; analysis of iDirect, ViaSat, L3, Tampa Microwave, Windmill, DRS SCOSS-J, and GD, VSAT; familiarity with RMF and its rules & regulation. Certifications: IAT Level II certification required

Senior Server Administrator-  5 years of System or Server Administrator experience.  Certifications: IAT Level II certification required (Security , etc.).
