Senior Project Manager

Overview:

Serves as the project contract manager interfacing directly with the customer in aspects including financial, schedule management, estimates and tasking readdress as required per contract agreement.  Responsible for tracking and documenting customer projects, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. 

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work across the full spectrum of the acquisition lifecycle from opportunity capture to services delivery
• Providing Program Management support, to include developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, creating and submitting program related documentation, preparing and presenting briefings, providing full conference/meeting support, and preparing senior level strategic briefings and metrics as required by the Government
• Create scope documents based on approved charters and project plans (work breakdown structures)
• Track key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests, and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. 
• Supporting all aspects of the development and implementation of IT services projects
• Providing analysis and recommendations in support of the resolution of IT-related problems; executing the recommendations as directed by the client.
• Primary customer point of contact as the lead for the project with respect to providing IT services and working within a complex network environment.
• Overall daily responsibility for the delivery of all work products and services on this program, to include technical artifacts, reports, presentations and briefings to the client
• Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7-10 years relevant Project Management experience across the entire project life cycle
• Related industry experience in information technology or engineering
• Working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically Excel and Project
• Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills
• Must be a US Citizen
• Possess current PMP certification.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or information technology management or technical discipline is desired but not required
• Experience working with DISA is desired
• Field Services experience is desired
• ITIL Certification
• Experience or certification in agile processes

• Secret Cleanrance required
