Summary:
Company is growing their cloud hosting environment to support the growth of their web and mobile solutions and provide cloud hosting services to external clients. The Company’s Cloud Operations team is expanding to support this growth and looking for right person with the ability to contribute to the design cloud architectures, advise applications teams on how to integrate their architecture to meet client Service Level Agreements, and help refine the Company’s Azure cloud hosting offering.
Role:
The selected qualified person will use their Azure experience and knowledge to assist projects with defining appropriate cloud architectures to meet specific needs and perform hands-on work to set up, monitor and maintain Azure cloud environments for external clients.
Skills & Role Requirements:
- Microsoft Azure experience required
- Experience in cloud computing technology and infrastructure
- Experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud
- Experience with cloud DevOps, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS architectures
- Knowledge of IT Operations best practices in a 24/7/365 always-on service model
- Experience in designing an overall cloud architecture for web and mobile solutions and implementing those solutions for high availability, high volume applications
- Knowledge of network architectures including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, and others
- Experience with networking and internet security architectures and protocols relevant to cloud environments
- Experience with continuous deployment tools such as VSTS/Azure DevOps
- Working knowledge of web and mobile software development architectures and toolsets
- Experience with release management
- Experience with Powershell
- Experience with relevant software architectures, databases, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
