Byte Kitchen scales locally beloved restaurants. Byte can quickly expand the footprint of a brand with minimal up front investment by rolling out their cuisine across a network of next generation kitchens optimized for delivery, pick up, and take out. We are backed by Y Combinator (S21 batch) and other strategic investors, have strong traction (LOIs with 20 restaurants, 12 beloved chefs and have leased our first test kitchen).

Your role:
We are looking to hire a greeter for our food hall in San Mateo. Your role entails greeting our customers, walking them through our offerings and assisting them in choosing from our multi concept menu.
We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic person with strong communication skills to ensure a delightful customer experience. A positive and friendly attitude is a must, as well as the ability to efficiently and effectively handle potential customer complaints.
Your responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with ordering
Keep the pick up area clean and orderly
Understand our multi concept menu and be able to explain it clearly
Assist with demos and sampling
Ensure orders are complete and provided to the proper recipient
Be fully conversant with our ordering system in order to assist customers with orders, discounts, etc.
Greeter Job Requirements:
16 years or older
Positive and friendly attitude
Strong focused on customer experience
Strong communication skills
Good organization skills
Ability to successfully work in a team
Experience in hospitality or service roles is a bonus
