C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations across eight states, has an opening for a Service Writer/Office Administrator at its new location in Sioux Falls, SD which was formerly Ideal Yardware. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in the areas of customer service, financial, personnel, sales, parts and operations. The position reports to the General Manager and works closely with the other managers and employees. If you have strong attention to detail and a passion for customer service in a fast-paced work environment, then this is the job for you!
Essential Duties:
- Assist in helping with uploading and completing sales department paperwork
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
- Monitor service repair completion progress, close work orders, and generate customer invoices
- Create customer accounts
- Assist with scheduling customer pickup and deliveries
- Enthusiastically greets visitors and answers phones
- Prepares bank deposits and balances cash receipts, credit card receivable accounts
- Assists General Manager with accounts receivable collections
- Maintains accounts payable records
