C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Optician in Jefferson City.
Salary/hours for Optician: $15.50/hr.; Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Responsibilities for Optician:
- adjusting and cleaning glasses
- assisting patients with selection of frames
- obtaining measurements required for ordering glasses
- understanding vision insurances and benefits pertaining to ordering glasses
- troubleshooting patient dissatisfaction with glasses
- explaining and collecting payments for optical orders
Requirements for Optician:
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- previous related experience required
- ability to train and use job related equipment and systems
- must comply with dress code (scrubs provided by office upon hiring)
