Building Information Modeler (BIM Technician)

The structural team at C.S. We have an immediate opportunity for a Building Information Modeler (BIM Technician) with the structural team in our York or Lancaster office. As a BIM Technician, you will efficiently use the suite of Autodesk software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, to create simple to complex models and construction drawing sets in collaboration with our professional design staff. Your Revit experience is essential in developing floor plans, roof plans, building elevations, sections, and details that advance our projects. You take ownership of your tasks and pride in your organizational skills, efficient work habits, and attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

· Assist the project manager with overall project responsibilities.

· Visualize and conceptualize in both 3-D and 2-D.

· Accurately create and alter models and construction drawing sets.

· Prepare final models and drawings under the design team's direction, from rough sketches, mark-ups, or verbal communication.

· Set up BIM models and ensure compliance with client BIM standards and expectations.

· Collaborate with internal and external design disciplines to monitor design-related changes and coordinate model distribution.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

· Associate degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field.

· 1 years of Revit experience in structural engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.

· Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

· Highly organized with attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.

Desirable Skills:

· Bluebeam Revu experience.
