Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Duration: 2 to 3 months with the potential for conversion to full-time
Est. Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible Hours, but regular business hours are: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Organization Profile/Position Summary:
C&S Real Estate & Development is a full-service real estate company who oversees a variety of properties across the Albuquerque metropolitan area. Our office team consists of ten members who work together to manage these properties and build owner financial packages based on their monthly performance.
We are in search of a part-time A/P clerk to perform a variety of general office duties and help with basic accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail. This position requires accuracy, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for accurately processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Duties:
Routine correspondence (emails, phone calls).
Provide entry level accounting support.
Ensure all invoices and payments are properly coded, matched, and approved before processing.
File, organize, and store AP files.
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including vendor insurance and tax information.
Required Education and Experience:
No degree required
Bookkeeping experience preferred
