What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Warfare Engineering Analyst - Mid Level position at C-Star Solutions, LLC?
Electronic Warfare Engineering Analyst (Active TS/SCI Required)
C-Star Solutions supports our customers with advanced engineering intelligence analysis to aid engineers, the warfighters and decision makers in the development of threat systems production and databases. You will be supporting an engineering and technical team with all-source intelligence and technical engineering research of threat emitters for the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) production requirement at the National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position is full-time, working on-site at the customer’s location and a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access is required.
As an Electronic Warfare (EW) engineering analyst, you will conduct research across all sources of information. You will research open-source and classified information on identified threat systems to track and monitor parametric information relevant to subsequent engineering work performed by others within your team. You will be required to work independently to keep abreast of technology changes by searching varied databases and repositories, developing relevant keywords to assist in datamining and incorporating results into the data repository. You will also triage the research data to weed out relevant information and make assessments of their validity. The research will be used to inform and update the EWIR models. An understanding of the electronic emitters/ELINT devices is beneficial to this research so a background in science and engineering is helpful in this role as this is technical research. You will work with the team and Government leads to prioritize research and need to be responsive to meet deadlines and schedule requirements. You will be required to collaborate effectively with other team members. Communication and collaboration are important aspects of this team to ensure effective EWIR production.
In this job you will:
- Conduct original EW engineering all-source intelligence research and engineering analysis to characterize system performance and capabilities
- Analyze EW components, devices and related technologies
- Be able to read and interpret engineering diagrams
- Will need to be familiar with performing database research with text queries and/or Boolean searching.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Be organized to manage research data on multiple networks and multiple databases.

- Ability to conduct and verify engineering analysis on weapon systems, platforms, electro-optic systems and communication systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent verbal/written communication skills
