Title: Mail Room Clerk
Location: Wichita, KS
Salary: up to $17 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

What Will I Be Doing?
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
- Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures
Receives, sorts, and delivers mail in accordance with mail processing procedures and designated delivery routes. Mail should be ready for internal delivery by 10:00 am. (Monday - Friday)
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and communicates changes and progress.
Handles all shipping needs such as Overnight, 2nd day air and ground service
Folds letters or circulars and insert them in envelopes when needed.
Examines outgoing mail for appearance and seals envelopes by machine or hand.
Stamps outgoing mail by hand or with postage meter.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as needed.
Delivers paper cases to designated copier/fax machines.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Meets productivity standards; Completes work in a timely manner.
Effectively communicate with supervisor and customer to accomplish assigned tasks and develop sound customer relations.
Requires common courtesy and clear verbal communication skills
Employee will perform any and all other relevant duties assigned by the responsible supervisor.
Communicate with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives
Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals
Ensure assigned tasks are performed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations

Ideal candidate possesses two years’ experience in related skills applicable to company mail room operations
Must be able to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently, prioritize and multitask.
Able to work with postal codes, procedures, and regulations
Experience with UPS, Federal Express, and courier services desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and the internet
A high degree of accuracy is required for handling sensitive mail and proper routing of mail; confidentiality a must
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of office equipment (copy machines, fax, computers, postage meters).
Valid driver's license required - will be driving daily to post office and between facility locations in Wichita
Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
