Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO)
governed by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to leverage the collective strengths of
FQHCs to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve. We are a fast-growing organization
founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who
receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. We are an
innovative organization developing new partnerships and programs to improve the health of members
and communities, and to strengthen our health center partners.
Job Summary:
The Director plays a critical role in leveraging varied and rich data assets to deliver accurate,
actionable analysis on research and regulatory requirements, and advance health and well being for sexual and gender
minorities (SGM) and people affected by HIV/AIDS. The Director provides thought leadership and
management oversight that will drive proactive data management and improve the effectiveness and
efficiency of operations throughout Fenway Health and The Fenway Institute (TFI). This individual
promotes progressive and strategic ways of managing and reporting data to enable business
evolution. This individual will be responsible for managing the teams that develop advanced
reporting/data visualization tools and data governance standards, as well as processes to ensure
high quality output. This role provides strategic vision, analytic expertise and operational
management.
Responsibilities:Analytic Oversight and Regulatory Compliance
- Responsible for maintaining and adhering to data reporting and submission requirements set by
regulating bodies (i.e. Grantors, ACOs, government entities) and other funders - Coordinates with funders and other staff to ensure data collection is progressing according to
protocols and timelines - Leadership of Data Analytics and Reporting for Fenway Health and The Fenway Institute
- Partners with C3, CTC and CPC staff to identify efficiencies and opportunities in data management and reporting needs for Fenway Health and TFI
- Works closely with key Fenway partners to provides leadership, direction, decision-making and oversight of data management, analytics and reporting across the organization
- Leads data analysis and reporting activities including:

- The development of validation reports leveraging appropriate external benchmarks for metrics and key performance indicators that are linked to business results, identifies risks, insights and develops recommendations
- The use of internal and external data sources to bring new and creative insights to the planning processes and understands patterns and connections to influence business outcomes
- Oversight of the design and development of dashboards, reports, presentations used to drive business decisions
- The prioritization of myriad and dynamic analytic requests, inclusive of cost estimates where applicable
- Advances health equity through the collection and analysis of data
Data Governance
- Partners with C3’s analytics and IT teams to align standards regarding the accurate and secure
dissemination and use of data to inform business operations for both C3 and Fenway Health - Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing,
changes, and corrections - Utilizes consistent and transparent processes by which data requests are submitted, reviewed and
prioritized - Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to think strategically, plan and direct large analytical and reporting projects, go deep
with strong analytical skills, and communicate well verbally and in writing. Qualifications
include:
- Five-plus years progressive leadership of health center/research analytics team
- Five-plus years in SQL coding
- Expert in regional database design and data warehousing
- EPIC Certifications in Clarity, Caboodle and Cogito
- Strong background in data visualization tools
- Experience in managing, coaching and mentoring a team of data analysts
- Experience working with researchers and investigators to understand the business norms and
analytic approaches - Successful self-starter ready to build new capabilities in a growing organization; great
initiative combined with the knowledge of when to ask for help or guidance - Great attention to detail and care in the accuracy and look and feel of final deliverables to
internal and external stakeholders - Good with people; fun to work with
Desired Other Skills:
- Familiarity with the MassHealth ACO program
- Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
- Experience with anti-racism activities and/or lived experience with racism is highly
preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in business, economics, statistics, public health,
or related fields strongly preferred - Proficient with SQL or similar
