Senior Software Developer

• Working on the team's software development efforts and interfacing with other teams to create world class software solutions for our customers
• Creating and coding new approaches to increase quality, efficiency, and resilience in existing and new software applications
• Implementing cloud-based enterprise software to data centers around the world using pipeline technologies
• Determining the best software design and architecture for projects
• Supporting our customers to achieve their goals using our software services

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 of experience in the software industry in lieu of the bachelor's degree education requirement

• Experience (2 years) in enterprise level, high volume, hosted applications in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
• Strong development experience (5 years) with Java/J2EE development within Linux environments
• Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA, Ansible, Jenkin and/or Git
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with common HL7 and X12 based transactions
• Experience with Cassandra database, Kafka, and/or OpenSearch
• Experience with using SQL and/or NoSQL databases in design, development, and implementation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience handling the entire software development life cycle, end to end

Niche skill set or specialty product experience. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.

Responsibilities:

1. Revises and refines systems as required.

2. Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation. Involved in testing and ongoing support of business systems.

3. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.

4. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
