This position will be located in the West Sacramento Motor Carrier Office.
- Assist taxpayers to ensure to compliance with tax laws and performs a variety of collection functions.
- Response to in-person and telephone inquiries regarding business laws and regulations, policies and procedures, and general business information.
- Answer incoming calls from CDTFA Customer Service Center performing account maintenance, providing taxpayer assistance with registration, tax returns, tax payments, and guidance to available resources.
- Prepares account adjustment documents as necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as needed to cover the workload.
The incumbent may be eligible to receive additional compensation each month for public contact through the telephone per Pay Differential 186.

Working Conditions
- Standard office environment.
- Requires being in a stationary position, consistent with office work, for extended periods of time.
- Daily use of a personal computer, office equipment, and/or telephone.
- Must be able to move/transport equipment weighing up to thirty (30) pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Telework is available up to fifty percent (50%) of the time.
- Depending on your work location, you may be working in a high-rise building.
