CACI seeks a talented Security Lead to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector.
What you'll Get To Do:
The Security Lead, together with two security staff members creates and maintains the FROST Security Plan, ensuring FROST operates consistent with the NRO Office of Security and Counterintelligence (OS&CI) directive, guidance, and practices and the contractor's program security policies and procedures. Security is part of the focused and dedicated Facility Team executing the FROST contract. The Security Lead will set up policies and procedures to protect sensitive and classified information and activities by current versions of NRO Security and IT-IA-IM Regulations, as well as protect NRO hardware, resources and facilities deemed to be mission critical by the NRO.
The Security Lead will interface professionally and efficiently with external clients and internal technical and administrative staff at varied levels of experience and authority. The Security Lead provides detailed and accurate reports and data sets with short turnaround times, develops and manages schedules, meets with project teams, change managers, and service integrators, as required, in development of security processes and procedures.
More About the Role:
- Collaborate with system integrators and administrators to harden information systems to the required acceptable level.
- Provide full Assessment & Authorization (A&A) support and technical security guidance in all phases of the system accreditation process and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Conduct security review of information security plans for computers, networks, and information systems
- Conduct the research and identify security vulnerabilities and provide guidance to mitigate risks to information systems undergoing the A&A process
- Conduct the assessment security system needs and provide corrective actions into a coherent security strategy
- Review and analyze systems architecture diagrams and networks
- Convey knowledge and security focused comprehensive solutions to technically complex systems and challenges
- Supporting Office of Space Launch NOPS mission, sustainment and operations personnel, and infrastructure.
- Documents identified project risks, mitigations, and outcomes
- Maintain awareness of system requirements and extant challenges to identify areas of concern or improvement
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a TS/SCI and eligible/willing to take CI polygraph
- 7 years Information Security Experience
- Familiarity with NRO IT-IA-IM Regulations
- Security or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in technology or information systems related discipline
- RMF Working knowledge
- Windows and Linux working knowledge
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Experience troubleshooting networks and authentication issues
- Be a team player and work in a genuinely collaborative team environment
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
- Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
- Ability to facilitate meeting and brief Program and Government personnel
- Ability to create project documentation
- Desire to work in a fast paced, mission-focused environment
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To have:
- NRO experience
- CISSP Certification
- Familiarity with satellite command and control systems
- Understanding of launch vehicle and satellite launch ascent, test, and on-orbit operational processes, practices, and procedures
- Experience with Agile Management tools

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$79,000.00 - $161,900.00
As a federal contractor, CACI is subject to any federal vaccine mandates or other customer vaccination requirements. All new hires are required to report their vaccination status.
