What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agile Data Analyst position at CACI?
CACI is currently seeking a Agile Data Analyst to work with our agile development team providing architectural support with data analytical capabilities to the US Navy. Will support the team in backlog refinement, requirements analysis, and test development. You will be immersed in all aspects of AGILE development. The work supports a large Navy Maintenance program and is associated with the development, fielding and support of a large family of shore-based maintenance applications. Work will be performed in Norfolk, VA. This is a on-site position.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Work with the team to refine items on the team’s backlog.
Work with the internal and customer stakeholders to identify requirements and acceptance criteria, develop the necessary design and test documentation.
Participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Participates in daily SCRUM calls, Sprint planning demonstrations and retrospectives events.
Interact with software developers, requirements analysts, end users and other stakeholders to define, document, analyze, perform and interpret tests for the agile development team.
Perform problem troubleshooting and communicate findings effectively with management and end-users.
Prepare presentation documentation as needed.

Evaluate defects based on operational impact and using approved defect tracking system to capture findings.
Participate in all phases of risk management assessment.

A willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends is also required.
Acts as liaison between end-user communities, stakeholders, and service providers within an enterprise.
Interviews personnel from functional user area under study to learn general purpose of systems and information requirements of positions involved in the data flow.
Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Tracks and document changes to functional and business specifications.
Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation.
Participates in system feasibility, proposals, design and integration.
Researches and solves user problems by modifying existing systems.
Participates in the creation of proposals for modified or replacement systems.
Participates in the creation and updating of user manuals and training documentation.
May participate in training users of a new systems innovation and looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree.
Must have experience working as an Analyst in an AGILE development environment.
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in work involving Software Development Lifecycle process.
Agile Certification
Understanding the difference between migrations and refactoring
Visio experience
Must have or be eligible to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Strong analytical and testing skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarization with phases of software life cycle design and development
Experience developing high-level and detailed requirements, detailed design documents, and requirements traceability documents
Excellent oral and written communications skills
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Software/Systems Engineering using Agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor to a specific system engineering process and software development tools
Demonstrated analytical skills, critical thinking and ability to prepare concept papers, briefs and official documents using MS Office suite applications.
Ability to speak and present comfortably in large group settings.
Use of SDLC tools. Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Defense Business Systems
Asset Management: government documents, hardware, software (to include license agreements)
Experience with using SQL for database analysis
Agile certifications
Ability to think out of the box, do technical research as directed
Any programming experience
Cloud migration experience
Cloud computing expertise
